Too much weight on the right foot at address, making it difficult for such a short shot to get enough weight left by impact. Many good wedge players set up with both knees cheating toward the target at address. Also, it is easy to measure to the ball incorrectly and have the left arm bent at address.
Anyone got some suggestions on Problems of "Layin Sod" on the 40 -85 yard range..what might be some causes and cures for the "grave of the dead cat"?
Anni,
I've seen your swing, so I doubt this is your problem, but for me, it's always a sway.

Well I only lay sod when "Captain Hit" interferes with my "Ole Reliable" ...Swing.... Usually in the middle of a wonderful waltz....But I 've got a good player who has the right elbow straight prior to impact and #2 Accumulator is still "pretty loaded"..drunk that is....in other words both arm accumulators are releasing and not those of the wrist and hand....Very Late release...
The dog has reached the end of his leash...so he decides to dig a tunnel under the ground....get it!!!
Nice Parallel..Yoda knows what I'm talkin about..reaching the end of the leash....
