Tiger'sFollow Thru
He is trying to make sure that his right wrist uncocks thru impact and maintain it in follow thru and finish.
Hank Haney told us that at the Australian Teaching Summit. This is how Hank teaches hinge action or as he calls it release.

That explains all the errant shots.

Too bad golf doesn't have a common language...

Shanks
If all the gurus keep coming up with this stuff e.g right wrist uncocking and congruent shaft angles, the golfers will have to go somewhere to have the shanks fixed and therefore might be exposed to the common language.

I would hope that no-one, not even Haney, teaches anyone to cock his right wrist never mind uncock it during release.

Flipping Nora!

I would be curious to know if by cocking he really mean't bending with a C variation grip - which puts the right wrist bend on the same line as the wristcock. As it would then be correct to flatten out the right wrist as the left wrist uncocks during the release.

We could uncock it from level to uncocked.

But ideally, the left wrist uncocks - the right wrist remains level....

Agreed - just saying you don't need to cock a wrist to uncock it according to golfing machine terminology.
