This past week allowed me to meet up with an old acquaintance, Alex who I first meet in Arizona at a golf outing.
As I drove down to the swamp on Tuesday I was pretty excited. First it was going to be a round of golf with Alex and a few other guys in the local area. Well I discovered that golf courses close when it rains, golfers go somewhere (still don't know) and basically there is no golf.
That turned out to be better than okay. Yodaluke contacted us and we zipped over to the swamp via golfsmith and the pga tour store. Seems Yodaluke's students can't go out in the rain so they all canceled. So what do three guys do? Talk a bit out TGM and then grab the club and take the golf stroke for a spin. Yodaluke spent about 5 hours and to say the least it was extremely informative upon my part. There is a reason he is 2006 GA PGA Teacher of the Year. He is good........
I won't go through all the stuff that happen, cause that is really for Alex to talk about. He came to the swamp from Scotland, and when I left Friday afternoon, he was smiling...
On Thursday it was some Yoda time. If any of you aren't aware, He is good too!!! Friday more of the same and I had to hit the road back home.
Interesting that what Ted had done on Wed that Yoda didn't know and what Yoda did on Thur and Fri, didn't conflict but in fact seem to build rather handily on each other's work. Great Stuff Man....

Oh, on Thur night Yoda gave both of us a special treat. He had been in Orlando, Florida with Brian Gay the previous two days and had some vids. Brian is a Machine....The tape was too short, only 60 minutes, it is one of those you could watch twice as much and want more. Maybe someday Yoda will share this tape in a special section.
I won't speak for others but a lot of these vids that have been posted IMO should be in a special section, because they are of premium value.

I hope this isn't pushing the LBG web team. I would imagine they have their plates rather full with the pace things are moving on the site. Those guys do a great job.... I hope they know we appreciate it.

Currently standing at the airport waiting for my flight. Once again thanks to Martee for ferrying me from and to the Swamp on the days that he was here, it was good to see you and catch up my friend. 5 years is too long!!
I will write more when I get back home but for now I would just like to say thanks to Lynn and Ted for their hospitality, help and friendship. It has been a fun, enjoyable and eye opening week for me and I think that the work that we put in will help my game a lot. Thank you!!
With regards to the Brian Gay video, boy are people in for a treat!! All I could think of is that it was everything that Lynn and I went through on the Thursday afternoon and how great it would be to have that video for personnel use.

You are a wonderful student, Alex, and it is a privilege to work with you. You made terrific progress last week -- truly an 'Amazing Changes' transformation -- from weak, 'dying quail' Fades to strong, kick-butt Draws.
And what a demo you gave to my four New Jersey students who came in for a private Academy over the weekend! With no warning, I called you over from an adjoining practice tee and asked you to demonstrate what you had learned during your two days. Under the gun, you performed like a TOUR player! After explaining and demonstrating the changes, you then hit a frozen rope with a 5-Iron. I handed you the Driver, and you launched one 260-yards with just a touch of Draw at the end. Two swings. Both Dead Solid Perfect. Wow!
Ol' Yoda was bustin' every button he was!
Have a safe trip back to Scotland, my friend. I can't wait to tee it up with you on your home turf!

The only swinger that wanted a lesson that day was from Scotland. He felt right at home in that weather.
