Reunion: Advanced Clinic
I was thinking about what would make a great location for an LBG Clinic Reunion.

I'm asking this question on Buckets FORUM because he can hook-up to the INTERNET at the local KFC. His wife got another "restraining order" so with the free time on his hands, he'll be spending a lot of time there.

I was thinking South Carolina? It seems to be the Golf Resort Capital. But I don't know anything about SC so I don't know if it's a place that other Golfers would like to go.

Since this would be a reunion of previous students, I suspect the subject content to move toward the complex and theoretical. And since Bucket can't participate in the advanced format he could become the event Hostess, so he can host the Site Selection Forum too.

It may be too late for a Spring/Summer session but a Fall Session may allow enough time to schedule the group and the weather down South should be more cooperative.

Should "down South" Be capitalized?

Any Ideas? Comments are welcomed and appreciated.

We're on the same beam here, Daryl. Only I was thinking North Carolina. Specifically, Peggy Kirk Bell's place (Pine Needles). http://www.pineneedles-midpines.com/

Chuck Evans and I held a very successful school there in 2004, and I'm sure she would welcome us back. http://www.lynnblakegolf.com/gallery...ry.php?cat=505 Thanks to 6bMike for these photos.

If we decide to make a weekend of it, we might even slip over next door and have a go at Pinehurst #2.

Best of all -- maybe worse of all -- we're near Bucket's home turf (sorry, Mike O! ). The saving grace is that we will may be able to lure into our midst Golf Stroke Impresarrio Eddie Cox and budding teaching superstar, David Orr. Both attended the 2004 hap'nin and are NC residents. In any event, a 'down home' barbeque and a 'close encounters of the third kind' is definitely a possibility!

The 'been there, done that" LBG hats and bag tags are on me . . .

Let's do it!

I've seen the pictures from that event and it looks like a great place. I'm in for sure. And it's easy to get there.

Certainly, the turn-out will be sensational. I would really like to meet everyone and see old friends again.

It's odd that Bucket lives in "Golf Mecca" and he doesn't play Golf.

Got'cha down, Allan. See you there! [Whenever and wherever . . . I'll be in touch!]

For 'the rest of us', know that Allan gives more than 2,000 lessons per year and was named the Instructor of the Year 2004-2007 at one of the busiest golf ranges in the country, Chelsea Piers in downtown Manhattan, New York City, NY. He was an attendee at our December 2006 LBG Academy for Professionals at Hombre Golf Club in Panama City, Florida.

So, when Allan says "busy", he means busy!

MBC!!!!!!!

Always a pleasure!!! For anyone that doesnt know MBC - a great guy - and in the Birmingham area. Well versed in TGM and rarely posts. Todd, please forgive me, but I must......

A long long time ago, there was this little itty bitty forum. It was bad. Real bad. Chuck Evans ran it - thank God there was something. Anyways,it was basically me, some dude named ecox and golfingrandy. We kept it going for a year or so, then it evolved - golfopinions.com, then freegolfinfo, then tgm forum.

Do I feel I helped take TGM off, yes I do. And I hope they feel the same. There was 5 of us - there was more I am missing - but we all posted. I am talking way back when the only other forum was David Laville's....I mean, TGM wasnt a pimple on anyones butt.

And I owe a ton to all of them - Chuck, MBC, Ecox, Randy - they were the gateway to my learning. Then, someone else joined the fray on TGM forum - and, you know him - I have spent countless hours with him on the phone - he, in my opinion is one of the 2 most knowledgable people in the world for TGM - then went to I believe 3 AI classes - and saw Lynn in his debut back.

Sorry - didnt mean to go this way, but MBC got me going.

MBC - always a pleasure my friend - lets talk soon.

Patrick

One other quick note.

On Lynns homepage - the picture - I was there and am not in it.

Why?

Cause I was the one laying on the grass about 3 feet in front of him. Why isnt 6B in it? Cause he was the one behind the camera.

Seems like decades.
