Stopped by Barnes & Noble today. Checked out the golf books (not a G.O.L.F. book). Pretty neat drill in one book. I suggested hitting chip shots and little pitches while actually watching your hands rather than the ball. Haven't tested this out, but sounds like it could be helpful with Monitoring.
Mr. Kelley said that looking was the first step in learning how to monitor the Hands:
1. Look to see that the alignments are correct.
2. Then, while still looking, learn the feels associated with the alignment
3. Swing with the eyes closed, monitoring only the feel.
Then, the club essentially disappears and you monitor only the Hands.
Would you monitor fulling Uncocking #2 and Full Lever Extension too?
I think this is my trouble spot, but I don't want to encourage throw-away in the process.
