LOL!

The place is called Tylösand on the coast between Malmo and Gothembourgh - or a 2-hour drive from Copenhagen.

Map

Famous for:
  • Its beach. Very nice.
  • The nearby golf course "Halmstads Norra" is top-10 in Sweden, no matter who you ask. Many would still hold it as #1.
  • The resort is owned by the Roxette guitarist/writer Per Gessle. His home town Halmstad is just down the road.

Oh. I forgot to say that March is not exactly the best time for beach and golf.

Exactly. And that is what will happen. Had no chance to talk to the PGA today. If I come across some info about getting Yoda-only tickets I'll post here. Maybe someone will consider it worth a journey.

I PM'ed Henning in the fall asking if it was possible to attend the presentation. Unfortunately I haven't heard anything.
If Yoda-only tickets are available for non-Pros, non-swedes, scandinavian TGM-nuts, I'll be first in that line

Please let me know.

I'm only 2 hours away from Halmstad. I actually drove through today, on my way home from skiing in Norway.

Oh and Tylösands championship course is actually #2 on the european continent after Valderama in the Peugeot Golf Guide.
But I guess it's not open before april.

Thom,

I'll check out the qualification requirements, daily access and fees and will post the information in this thread. Thanks for your interest and support.

The offical price for the entire 4-day event is 2750 SEK + 25% VAT = SEK 3437. Translates to some US$ 420. According to the event info you play that price regardless of the number of lectures you attend. The price is for lectures only and does not include hotel and food.

I hope the PGA will be able to offer other options once interest is demonstrated.
