Left Hand low putting?

vj, Geoff and others: What do you think of left hand low putting ? Is the main advantage over the conventional style the prevention of the wrists breaking down through the stroke? Are there set up advantages because the trail shoulder is not as low at address? What are your thoughts on left hand low putting? Thanks.

Ever notice where your Right Forearm is when you Putt Cross-Handed? And how about that 'gone bye-bye' #3 Accumulator Angle?

So, you're down to one Accumulator (Left Arm or Right for Clubhead Control) and an On Plane Right Forearm (Clubshaft Control). Add a Hinge Action (Clubface Control) with that Flat Left Wrist and you're in business!

Somewhat of a realist so here is my thought. If it is so good why do the majority of tour players putt conventional. Getting past that, I dislike the forearm alignments with the left hand low.

All too many times the left forearm gets out of plane and the right forearm and elbow are off plane and in a severe PUTT attititude.

Of course, a knowledgeable TGMer would never permit those misaligned forearms. Unfortunately, VJ is exactly right in that conventional golfers all too often don't even know that such alignments -- the correct and the incorrect -- even exist.

I don't understand the term "PUTT attitude." Please explain.

10-3-E- This term specifies a completely motionless body-especially the Right Shoulder- as opposed to 10-3-H

10-3-H This term describes a stroke made with both arms "frozen" either straight or bent. The Power Package is "Zeroed Out" to make it a rocking "Body Only" Stroke. Shoulder Motion must impart either angled or vertical motion.

My terminology was a little off, sorry pro. What I was trying to say is that many left hand lowers get the Putt going but expect to use a "Shoulder" Stroke. NAUGHTY, NAUGHTY!!!

Left hand low puts both forearms on plane. Makes you push the putter head and shaft back together so not to slice a putt on the downstroke. I use it as practice/warm up excercise and sometimes on the course......

I also remember Yoda telling me that by using left hand low, and a PUSH BASIC STROKE , that the left arm was already straight at address, so, after impact ,you just had to make sure the right arm went to a straight position ---- it "simplified" the putting stroke (if I remember correctly from 6 months ago!)
