A learning tip, that works for me
Yes, I am reading the Yellow Book and already know it is going to take a lot (as in years) more run throughs. But I also found it valuable to have it present while reading posts. Yoda, and the more experienced, place footnotes in their posts. I find it helpful to pop to the book. It is fragments of understanding, but you never know when some fragments will combine to clear some fog.

Everybody learns differently, but it helps move the ball down the field for me.

Good suggestion. I actually have two copies. One at home and one at work. At work the computer is 99.9% of my job, so ocassionally I will peruse the various TGM forums.

Fan,

Only two copies?
I have two in the car, three or four at home, couple at work. You never know where you might have a moment to learn something. they all have notes in them, highlighted material, and everytime I read them I learn something.
I really get inspired when Yoda mentions something to add to my books and where!!!
I often get a new one when attending a class or seminar, make new notes and compare with the old.
What a great journey and it keeps getting better with the help of YODA!!!!

Fan,

I only put face time in at work about 15 hours a week. The rest of the time, I'm at home working at the computer. The recent threads at GEA and Chuck's board have ruined productivity. The Yoda tribe arriving at GEA, really put me on the bus quickly.

Real happy to see a familiar name. I know we crossed paths at GEA.

Good luck to us,

charlie(max)

I've followed it off and on but with the infusion of the 'tribe' at GEA I am getting into more and more. Yes, only two books. I am about to start riding the train/bus back and forth to work again so a third copy is soon to follow.

Carry it!
You know, if you just carry the book around with you EVERYWHERE then you don't need all those extra copies!
