Well, I've had the little yellow book for about a week now and what can I say, it's less yellow, more GOLD!
Things I’ve discovered:
The position my elbow gets into when intending to punch something is called the Push position, not Punch. Why is it called Punch when nobody outside of a mental ward would fan when drawing back to punch something.
Chapter 2 is scarier than any Freddie or Jason movie watched in a dark room, on a stormy night, as a ten year old, home alone
If there are any references to a cross-line motion of the hips or the pre-turning of the hips at address, I’m going to be the next Tiger. (see what I’ve done here )
The Straight Line Delivery Path has a curve… not actually true, I know I know
Even tho “Except for special purposes, Address Position is NEVER Impact Position.”, the Impact address position, with its impact body and hands, is “especially useful for Hitters”.
These forums are the fourth Imperative, unless of course my Turned Shoulder Plane thread fails to get a response for two more days :P
And finally, reading the book is quite easy, just as long as I don’t try to understand every little bit on the first, second, third, forth… you get the picture.
And finally, this book will be a lifelong companion, unless it burns in a fire, gets stolen, lost, given as a gift or runs away with the spoon
Seriously tho, it feels great to be able to be more precise with all the question I'm going to be bombard you guys with
