Tempo
With the snow arriving in my area boredom has set in. I decided even though some people don't like it to play with the leadbetter swing setter for a 30 day evaluation. When most people use it including myself I find I have to take a more aggressive backswing wrist hinge and a faster tempo backswing.MY normal tempo is ver slow which I think came from using a medicus club which would break everytime at the speed I would be using the swing setter. The questions are for hitting does it make a difference if the backswing is too slow and the wrist hinge is delayed.Because of my physical issues I have noticeable pause at the top of my backswing so currentlly I am not getting any momentum transfer by shifting my weight as the club is till going back. I am looking for more distance. I know when I am on the course and feel confident enough I get more aggressive and the ball does go farther.

Note other than the impications of what the swing setter makes you do I am not looking for any feedback on the product.

Thanks

Dave
