They're replaying this again--great to see Trevino talking about his swing, he's very knowledable. Says with a laugh "Yeah, I was one of the first guys to figure out the position of your left wrist is the position of the clubface...". Also says he learned to trap the ball so well from playing on Texas hardpan--didn't even know he could spin the ball until he got on tour and started hitting off soft fairways.
Best Trevino story I ever heard--Lee's on the range, early a.m. when Watson walks up, shakes his head and says "Okay, Mex let's see what you got". Trevino says "Whaddya want?". Watson points to the second zero on the 100 yr sign--Trevino drops a ball, bullseye's it on the first swing, then laughs "Don't take long to warm up a Rolls Royce...".
