Coming in Handy
Pressure points in the hands feel different, depending what Accumulators you are using, there sequence, amount of thrust.... The Hands tell you everyhting that is going on. TGM could have a sub-title "How to Finally Educate your Hands and Play Good Golf".

Personally, I feel a big difference in PP#2 (swinging) and PP#1 (hitting). Loading action at 90 degrees difference - either the left wrist or the right elbow loaded (swinging/hitting).

Left hand karate chop - like a tailor measuring you for a jacket
vs
Right hand punch/uppercut with the heel of the hand
'down' INTO the ground

Surfing the cosmos securely planted upon his trusty board . . .

Norrin . . . very very intersting stuff.

Could you please focus your power cosmic a bit more upon this lofty subject.

How do the Pressure Points feel different? What should our hands be telling us? Maybe I should shave mine . . .

Your hands will communicate all that is going on. The problem is most golfers are not listening. When Mr. Kelley wrote the current Chapter 5 (first appeared in the 4th edition I believe) it summarized the book in "a nut-shell" . SWING THE HANDS, MONITOR THE HANDS, Mr. Kelley wrote in capital letter. Nine times out of ten, your swing falls apart because you are not monitoring your hands, you are monitoring the Clubface. What they are telling you falls on deaf ears.

You are Over-loading (we'll save this one for another time), Round-housing, off Plane...The hands will communicate all of this if you will only pay attention. They, pressure points 1,2,3 located in the hands, are always trying to communicate, along with their distant cousin, the #4 Pressure Point. That is where your precision is if you use them; recognizing and reconcilling minor differences. The first step is to listen even if you don't speak the language yet.

What a wonderful post, Drew. I especially like the last sentence:

"The first step is to listen even if you don't speak the language yet."

It took me a long time to finally "hear" the #3 Pressure Point and what it was telling me. But, thanks to Homer Kelley, I knew it was there, and I finally made contact. Not long after, I also learned to send messages through #3 as well as receive them.

I am pleased to report that we have been "chatting away" merrily ever since!

A most POWERFUL Cosmic Blast . . . . The Surfer fades away on his board once again thwarting Galactus from consuming the 3rd planet for the sun.

One of the all time best posts on ANY forum.

How about you tell us about overloading? You tell me about that and I can tell you about relations with distant cousins!

The Lonely Surfer's heart burns for Shalla Bal.

YOU load and sustain the "LAG", during which the "LAW" releases it, ideally beyond impact.
"Sustain (Yang/陽) the lag (Yin/陰)" is "the unification of Ying and Yang" (陰陽合一).
The "LAW" creates the "effect", which is the "motion" or "feel", with the "cause", which is the "intent" or "command".
"Lag" is the secret of golf, passion is the secret of life.
Think as a golfer, execute like a robot.
Rotate, twist, spin, turn.
Bend the shaft.
