Was reading the Aug. 04 Golf Mag. at Dr's. office. The foldout, about page 50, of Fred C., in the frame immediately after impact seems to show his right hand coming off the handle! Can see daylight. Comments/cause?
I have pic., can scan but how to post, if anyone interested?

Tis a privilege to be here!
There have been several posts written about VJ's right hand. One really good post by Yoda was written on this in another forum.
I believe he and Fred are employing a kind of anti-left move by doing this type of thing. They are both Swingers, and I believe both still have their #3 pressure points intact during this move. This would probably not be a good thing for a Hitter.

Centrifugal Force is driving the Swinger's Club through Impact. After the #3 Pressure Point has directed same into the Ball, who needs a Right Hand?
I've had this happen a time or two on the range. In my case, I sense that I'm running out of right arm too soon but my flat left wrist is doing it's job through impact. Rather than throw away lag at the bottom by flipping, which is the natural result of the right arm getting too straight prior to impact, I subconsiously loosen the right hand to save the shot. At followthrough my right hand is off the club, my left hand has swiveled on plane, I look up expecting the worst and the ball is sailing right on target maybe a few yards of lost distance.
Not sure if that's what VJ and Freddy do, but it's been my experience.
Right hand clubhead, left hand clubface.
Gotta love it!
A lot is made of those pictures of VJ and Phil with the right hand off the club. What is important is that the right hand never moved ahead of the shaft.
