Y'all I was watching this thing on the Food Network (my favorite channel of course) about the history of KFC. They said that the Colonel first started pan frying his chicken at the original joint. It took like 45 minutes to get the hook. And that's the way I fry chicken (after an overnight soak in buttermilk of course). But the Colonel started frying in . . . get this . . . a FREAKING PRESSURE COOKER!!!! Do not try this at home . . . That must be like splittin' a freakin atom. Boiling hot grease + air tight lid = major LAG PRESSURE = burnt up chidren cats dawgs and mullets.
