impact setup ?
Can you be swinger even though you set up with the hands and shaft forward of mid body. I’ve been trying to use mid body hands for full swings but with out much luck. Then I pulled out some old video tapes of my self from 4 years ago and notice that I setup with hands and club more of the left shoulder. Like Jack Nicklaus used to. When I started doing this with a swing procedure I was really hitting the ball straight as an arrow. Is this setup only for hitting or can it be both swing and hitting?

Choose whatever works best for you.

The impact hands simply promotes more of a "carry back" motion in the backstroke where you maintain alignments and move the right forearm and clubshaft back together. The mid-body hands position allows for more of a "swing back" motion where the hands will drag the clubhead back somewhat - which promotes the generation of some momentum for lag loading at the Top or End.

Hi timm,

There is nothing stopping you from using Impact Address per 10-9-B for Swinging. It is 'especially useful' for Hitting thats all.

Per 6-H-0, Address, the 9th component is not listed under the 10 things that must be associated with either Hitting or Swinging.
