It occured to me just recently that some golf terms are just not compatible with good learning habits.
Using one word to convey different meaning based on when and how they are used at a minimum adds to complexity in learning golf, at least that what my brain tells me. Keep it simple, Keep it consistent.....
What I am talking about is something I finally or I think I finally grasp that Homer did for the most part in TGM.
Is it a Golf Stroke or a Golf Swing? Can a hitter have a golf swing? Can a swinger have a golf swing?
Back Stroke vs Back Swing
Down Stroke vs Down Swing
And then there is Start Up vs Take Away, though Homer seem to not keep this as clean in his use.
I am assuming this was by design, though I would have liked to challenge a few terms/phrases he has kind of gone back and forth on.
Could this concept explained pre-TGM help others grasp TGM quicker?
