Feel of pressure pp #1 and #3 ?

This is a feel/sensation question of pp#1/#3. When I apply push/hit down
with the right hand I cannot feel pp#1,however, I feel the push
pressure at pp#3 or I could say along the index finger.

I am wondering if I have a right hand grip problem. Seem I am
hitting the ball OK.

Another way of stating the feel in the right hand is as if I am popping
a whip and the whip (shaft) is loading from change of direction.
