Q to the experts: Absolutely frozen right wrist?
Focusing on the magic of the right forarm flying wedge has helped me tremendously this year. It's certainly a key for hitting, since the right hand will be out of position for a hit with a sloppy right wrist. And it seems to work well with swinging as well.

Without knowing what it was, it's been a key for me in putting and chipping for several years - and that's certainly been the best parts of my game.

But I am wondering whether some posts on LBG might have exaggerated the stiffness of the flying wedge. The term "frozen" has been used - which should mean absolutely stiff from address to impact.

In an uncompensated swing the right wrist will be fully uncocked at impact. I've tried to hold the club with an uncocked right wrist at the top. I am not sure if I can do it at all - and it certainly puts my right elbow in a very odd position.

However, a cocked left hand and neutral right hand works fine for me.

Am I on the right track here? I would appreciate comments on this extremely important subject from the experts.

Thanks,

BerntR
