set up a practice area with string (I use masonry cord- less stretch- easy to see) outlining the plane.
The drawing shows a front and rear plane slope- in my tool I use a half circle net and a javelin stuck in the ground.
I use spring clips to attach the plane angle string on top of net and javelin and tees at the base.
Align the camera behind the rear string so all strings are inline. you are now taking pictures on an accurately aligned plane.
Also- once you get the hang of it, the front line (on the Net) can be left off and the plane can be aligned by positioning so that the rear plan string COVERS the plane line. As would be done when eyeballing ones plane down the line.
