windshield wiper divots

i was hitting balls to day and i looked down and i saw i had a couple windshield wiper divots. i was wondering yoda is this when i am not hitting the impact bag and i am pulling my arms inside? cause when i tried to image the impact bag out there i would have the nice divot?
