Thanks for the heads up. I have to see how he explains this. It seems to me that he is dividing swings into the bent over and the standing tall positions (flat vs upright?). The planes relate to shoulders compared to left arm positions, without any accounting for the relationship to the ball.
Sketch lines for the Turned Shoulder Plane and the Elbow plane on the photos and you see some good things happening. But the explanation is based on positions instead of aligning. I said it before, this is going to confound the concept of plane for the readers. It's also going to be difficult to get to position consistently without the mechanics to get there (ie forearm tracing etc).
BTW, I'm always amazed how Hogan gets dragged out for swing theories.
I'm sure Mr Hardy is a fine person, but he has a lot of splainin' to do.
