Dan Malizia (pronounced Ma-lize) has been a PGA member since 1991. He has been Head Golf Professional at Pine Tree Golf Club in Boynton Beach, Florida, since 2008. Pine Tree is a Top Five in Florida course that has attracted such members as Sam Snead, Meg Mallon, JoAnne Carner, Beth Daniel, and Karrie Webb. He also has been Head Professional at such prestigious clubs as Charles River CC (Boston, MA), Timuquana CC (Jacksonville, FL), and Hammock Dunes Club (Palm Coast, FL).

A dedicated teacher, Dan has been nominated twice for PGA Section Teacher of the Year. He has taught players at all levels including professionals on the minitours, the PGA TOUR, and the Champions Tour. Beginning in 2001 and for the next six years, he worked closely with renowned instructor Mac O’Grady. (This was in addition to his Head Professional duties.) During that time he participated in more than thirty schools, serving as both business manager and a member of the teaching staff.

He became a Lynn Blake Certified Instructor in June 2009, earned Certified Senior Instructor status in July 2010, and was given the Certified Master Instructor designation in May 2011.
