Ok, so I had to travel on business this week and had an opportunity to get a round in. Didn't have my clubs and had to play with a set of rentals that were relatively old. Driver was a Taylor Made 2000?? STeel had with an R 80 lite Regular Shaft and 10.5 degrees of loft. Long and short of it is that I hit that driver as well as my current Cobra Speeder X Shaft 9.5, with much better control. Two things that seemed to make a difference to me, I believe it was shorter than mine, and because the shaft was not a stiff, I felt like I could really feel it load, which slowed my tempo down. My swing speed is around 107, but maybe a regular shaft, a bit shorter, with more loft is the way for me to go..
