Met Joe Daniels, President of TGM, at the PGA show
yesterday. He says that the 7th addition will be
out in aprox 6 weeks. He was at a booth provided
by Ben Doyle. Interesting, Ben had a really big
floor mat for the club travel doing TGM. To me
it did not seem to have positions for Hitters?
All the best, Donn Kerby

That's right, Donn. Ben teaches a Swinging procedure.

So should I buy one now or wait until the new edition is published?

Buy one now, the 6. edition has been out since '82 and is the one most people will refer to for a long time still. Then get the new one too. It's not that it's the mostexpensive book in the world

Advanced Orders....
From the beginning, I questioned the business practices of the mothership ie; the TGM website...today, I still do. If the 7th Edition of the book is to be made available in the next 2, 3 or 4 weeks. How about some advanced ordering or maybe some advertising for the upcoming release???????????? Hmmmmm In business school none of my professors mentioned the practice of silent advertising!!! Hmmmm is this a new practice. Like Heinz and anticipation!!!

I would agree DG. Interesting choices being made.

As for advanced advertising, I certainly don't under estimate the power of this site and Brian's to do just that.

The question then becomes, who benefits from this 'free' advertising.

At the least, it is clear that every memeber is benefiting from the sharing of knowledge, which is a wonderful thing. Working together is always better than working against each other in the long run.
