Hitting observation -low ball flight
WellI think I have always played best when predominatly swinging though I have had some real success hitting wedges.
Well todayI went to the ranfe to jus tplay around. After a while I decided to try pure hitting.
Started with a i7 ron and part shots. Hit crisp low lasers. Ramped it up to full swing to the top and drive into the ball. Hi the ball about 5 yards shorter carry than my swinging method, though the ball flew much lower and despite a range rock took one bounce and spun back!!! It was wld but a lower ball fight for sure.
I proceede to do this with my hybrid and 3 wood and driver. Sur enough like the 7 iron crisp accurate staright at my target. But, much lower trajectory and ultimately a slight distance loss due to less carry.

Why is that? What can be done? If I can trajecotry a bit higher, this is as accurate as a ball can be struck.
