The reason I like my eyes a little behind the ball is not so much for visual reasons as it is for the impact feel.
I was thinking about it and thought it could be that I'm actually using a little axis tilt and thereby having the right shoulder on plane supporting the movement of the right arm.
Do I make any sense with this?
And does it make sense to use axis tilt while putting?

I made a seach in this category, and the only place axis tilt is mentioned is the mechanical checklist for armstokes made by VJ, it says that axis tilt is not used in putting.

A fellow named Jack Nicklaus sets up the way you described. He uses a PUSH type stroke, and has done very well with it! He also says he can see the ball and the hole, or line, at the same time.
