Gestating The Hitter

This is really good, Ted: A common sense description of a Golf Stroke rooted in science.

The Swinger cranks up his Centrifugal Force during Start Down and then hangs on. Mother Nature does all the work in the Downstroke and Release.

The Hitter, on the other hand, must constantly be mindful of the need to Accelerate. Unlike the Swinger, whose Body Momentum Transfer virtually eliminates Release Deceleration, the Hitter must continue to Drive. After the initial period of Shoulder Acceleration, his loaded Right Triceps takes over and reaches top speed almost instantaneously. Hence the need for the 'Still' Clubshaft at the Top and the 'Slow' Start Down.

Of such stuff is the great Hitter born.
