I am a little foggy about 1-L-15. Can anyone explain how the Thrust continues downplane once the club passes Low Point and starts moving up and in?

For the thrust to go anywhere but downplane is to Steer per 3-F-7-A.

Imagine setting a huge wheel on an inclined plane. To start this wheel spinning, we can both pull the rim or push the spoke in a direction toward the plane line, i.e. downplane. You never push or pull it towards the target.
