The best example of a 'hitter' who really 'swung' the club well, and perhaps the best swing ever IMO - Mickey Wright The difference between hitting and swinging is not how the club moves, it is how you support its movement. All efficient motion is smooooooth. Hitters who are not smooth aren't as efficient with their motion. You can't be a swinger and get away with 'jerky' motion, hitters get a bit more margin for error, but the goal should be the same.
