By all means let me know if you are cruising this way. There are a few nice places to play as Lynn and Ted found out in October.

I used to drive through Austin every Christmas on my way to the Houston area. This coming Christmas I will be heading to S. Padre Island so Austin is a bit out of the way.

You live in God's country and I am envious (SWTSU nee Texas St. grad so I know of which I speak). Being an ex-pat Texan living in CA is trying indeed. There are many nice things to do and see out here, but the attitudes wear on me after awhile (no offense to the Californians on the forum - just different priorities and perceptions).
