This is a good question...should there be pressure exerted by the right thumb during the swing that would cause grip wear where it rests or is this a sign of an incorrect motion somewhere during the swing? There has been discussion of a drill that removes this thumb from the grip in order to sense the pressure (lag) in the right forefinger so is this thumb just along for the ride. Any help from the experts?
