Take a look at Brian's NSA article - where he shows 'impact hands' - now, if you take that position, but don't rotate the body through, but instead just 'pull the butt of the club', you are lagging the hosel.

In other words, too much rotation back and/or not enough through - and the hands aren't in tempo with the body. The 'getting stuck' position for better players.

Sweetspot off plane.

It feels like the club is WAY open - because it is - fore right!
