Procedure for walking, Hand Controlled Pivot.

Actually, a Procedure involves moving the body part that is in contact with the object we’re trying to move. In the case for walking, we are moving the Earth (but because the mass of the Earth is so much larger than the mass of a person, the Earth doesn’t budge – but we do!) with our feet (the contact point).
So, the Procedure for walking can be summed up as -- starting from both feet level, move your right foot forwards, push off the ground with your right foot, then move your other foot in front of your right foot and push off.
If you do this very slowly, you will not have this split second of being "off-balance" like how all normal people walk. It's almost like you're stomping on the ground with one foot, anchoring into the ground, then stomping the ground with your other foot. Not very elegant, and you won't walk very fast. Toddlers walk like that; they take one step at a time. Now, if you want to walk faster, your Procedure will stay the same, but now you learn to walk more like a normal person. You learn (subconsciously thank God!) how to balance yourself in between steps so you don't have to take "one step at a time". You learn to move one foot in front of the other faster. You learn to take bigger steps. You learn to push off harder, and you feel more pressure on your feet as you take each step (Pressure Points / Lag Pressure). But are you focusing on how your torso is twisting or how your arms are swinging? No. And us Machine Heads know that Balance belongs to Zone #1: The Pivot. And movement of the swinging arms helps us to balance too.

The fact is that if you want to make an athletic and dynamic motion through the ball (i.e. generating your maximum clubhead speed), you must begin the Downstroke Train with your feet, then your knees, then your hips, etc. You hands have the intention of starting down – i.e. you attempt to start down with your hands. But it won’t let itself start down unless it has received sufficient Lag Pressure. And it won’t get that Lag Pressure unless you start down with your feet.
