I have always let mine just sort of "hang there" based on having relaxed arms. This equates to an inch or so of gap between the elbow and the bottom of my ribcage on each side. For some reason I just "tucked my elbows in" while practicing earlier in the week so they made contact with my sides. It feels much more connected and structured and seems to translate to less wobble in the stroke. Haven't taken it to the course yet, but I'm optimistic it will have a positive effect.
