I mean from down the line. But recently I've been experimenting with the feel (hard to talk about feels I know) of my right hand more 'outside' my left hand, and my right forearm pointing more over the top of my left arm/wrist. This feels less natural to me (ie more awkward to achieve) but seems to give me significantly better structure. In particular, it feels like the right wrist is leading the club right through the shot. To explain the position another way, with my old grip pressure point number 1 is closer to the thumb (pad) of my right hand, and the underside of my right forearm at address faces more towards the target, with the new grip pressure point number one is more through the bone on the non thumb side of my right hand (oh, for anatomical knowledge to make this clearer!), and the underside of my right forearm faces slightly more up towards the sky. Also, when the left wrist is flattened, there is a bit more of a right wrist bend with the new grip. Is this all a mistake???!!!!!
