KnighT,
Thank you for your many supporting comments.
LynnBlakeGolf.com is a team effort, and we work very hard to deliver information you find intellectually stimulating and useful to your game.
Regarding your quote above, as you visit the "2 sites," you may well be seeing, as you say, "two outstanding golf teachers trying to help hackers play better golf." Unfortunately...
You are also seeing one of those "outstanding golf teachers" doing his dead-level best to discredit the other (namely, me).
He does it in person.
He does it in print.
And he does it in video.
That's pretty well hitting on all cylinders, don't you think?
Now, lest I begin to feel 'special,' I am compelled to admit that he also spends a great deal of time 'grading' and discrediting
other "outstanding golf teachers" as well. In fact, there are very few instructors of note that have not found themselves between his cross-hairs. By his own appointment, he serves as judge, jury and executioner of many of the game's greatest teaching talents. Thank
goodness we have someone of his unique abilities to assume this thankless task!
Why, just yesterday, for example, in the thread on his site that is currently trashing teaching professionals Andy Plummer and Mike Bennett, two of the nicest guys you'll ever meet and true emerging talents, he wrote:
"But if they teach someone something I think is fishy, sorry...I'll let 'em know right here."
Thank you, Brian. We needed that! We need to know that these top-flight teachers with a growing stable of the world's best players are, in fact, mere mortals.
-- That they are
flawed and
unworthy of the heights they have attained.
-- That they can't 'get away with it' on your watch.
-- That they are no better than you! In fact, as you have said many times, they are not nearly as good as you.
They need to know that.
And your readers need to know that.
Most of all,
you need to know that.
And since nobody else is saying it --

- you do. Cool. It's a free country, and it's your website to do with as you please. As you have also told us many times.
Actually, KnighT, despite our woeful inadequacies, I know that Brian wants only the best for the rest of us golf teachers. Particularly those who seem to making some progress.

In fact, on the Plummer and Bennett thread, when a poster had the timerity to defend these new-found targets, he was quickly put straight as to the rewards of a public pilloring on his site:
"Maybe you'll realize that your guys might benefit from some honest analysis."
Gee, I feel better already.
To date, his venom has always been in direct proportion to the teacher's standing in the national Top Teacher lists. The higher the standing, the greater the vitriolic bombast.
Except for me, of course. Lowly as I may be, I seem to warrant special attention.
Lucky me.
