I've read quite a few references to SLACK... taking up the SLACK, etc.
This is obviously an important term. Is this term used in the TGM book?
Differentiate... TAKING UP SLACK, from EXTENSOR ACTION.

It seems to me that SLACK is taken up more dynamically, while EXTENSOR ACTION is a steady pressure or stretching.
