At the Top (8-6), with right triceps Extensor Action 'pushing' to the right (and thereby stretching the Left Arm) and the Left Hip Loading the Lag by 'bumping' to the left in the Start Down (8-7), the stage is set for the Four Stages of Downstroke Acceleration:

Shoulder Acceleration (Start Down / 8-7)...

Hand
Acceleration (Downstroke / 8-8 )....

Club Acceleration (Release / 8-9)...

Ball Acceleration (Impact / 8-10)!
