Tournament spectating tip
Just returned from Augusta, where after enduring a complete cavity examination, I was able to enter armed with my Bushnell rangefinder. I'll never go without it again!!! Knowing the exact distances these guys hitting shots was great from many standpoints.

Check this out...I measured the last 20-30 drives off #1 and most of the field was hitting it in the 280 - 295 range. Some that I remember:

O'Meara 278
David Toms 279
Zach Johnson 281
Raymond Floyd 283
K.J. Choi 291
Darren Clarke 301

TIGER WOODS 338 !!! (with a cut). 90 yards left to the pin, second shot bounded off the flagstick into the bunker...bogie.

Oh yeah, DiMarco 252 after careening off the trees to the right. HO HUM, birdie.


It's a fair game alright.
