As a side note Yoda has said in the past that he is about as stiff and inflexible as it gets. His swing still looks very, very good though wont you agree. Stretching is a good idea for sure, but give some more thought to the possibility that you are "over turning" even when swinging. Pivot to Hands vs Hands to Pivot.

I personally came to TGM with golf thoughts like:
-swing it back to parallel or beyond, then stop (as opposed to the right arm taking it to top....right shoulder high and the rest being resultant)
-turn, turn, turn in transition (as opposed to slide the hips with a delayed hip turn which "takes up the slack" in the left arm and stops the backward travel of the hands at wherever....the physics taking precedent over the position of the clubshaft , parallel to the ground or not)
-fire the hips (I dont anymore......hands to pivot....they go but automatically all though I have some questions in this regard for Yoda)
-keep the pivot ahead of the hands for as long as possible (the arms need to overtake the body and the clubhead needs to overtake the hands....research "overtaking")

Just a thought. Good luck with it. Sorry to bring you back to "over swinging" or turning, but almost all of us do or did.

Its a flexibility issue I'm sure of it.

Rob who is my coach and was taught by Lynn is who assured me of it.
