A different tool.....
I have been using a long heavy rope, instead of the speedchain, for my speed training. Same movements as with the speedchain. It's the very think rope, that you can hang from the rafters and climb up to the ceiling.
I do 5 to 10 "swings", anywhere from 5 to 10 sets. Great way to "stablize" the lower body and fire the upper pivot, arms, etc. What has it improved the most, my balance through all shots. I have always had "crazy legs" and left leg slides. Now I can fire away, hold balance and really have the feeling of using the ground for leverage through the shot, far more than ever. Great tool. I use it at the gym I belong to.
