I have been trying to set up with the right forearm on the shaft plane, feel the impact position then begin the backswing. I then try to start down and keep the left wrist flat and the right wrist bent through impact. The feeling this gives me is of the right elbow almost leading, and PP1 leading PP3. All of this taken together gives me the feeling that the clubface is square through out the stroke. But it also give me the feeling that I am holding on the the club through impact and not releasing. Is this feeling normal, or am I doing something wrong? It could be that I have been breaking down for so many years that I only feel like I'm holding on, but some feedback on this would be nice.
