The announcers for TV seemed to think with him, the problem was probably due to age, or nerves.He evidently was putting well right up to the end, when the pressure got very great. A similar thing seemed to occur with Mr. Kite on the last day of the tournament. Orville Moody fixed this with the Long putter. Others, like Hale Irwin, don't seem to have any problem like this.
