I stole this quote from Yoda on another thread, could somebody elaborate on this in different terms to help clarify this for me. Maybe hearing it put another way will make it clearer for me. Thanks.

The key to successful Hitting is the Delivery Path, not the Plane Angle. Specifically, the Hitter should limit his Backstroke to the Top of the Straight Line Delivery Path (10-23-A) and avoid the Swinger's End Stroke, that is, Top Arc and Straight Line (10-23-C).
