Got the taste of LFP today
LFP being RFP for lefties .

I've tried to do it on and off for quite some time now. But untill today, I never felt that I was able to get into the slot with a LFP. So therefore I've only used it for practice swings earlier.

Today I had the privilege of playing 9 holes with my wife. It doesn't happen to often. Had built her a driver and promised her that we should eliminate her slice during the round. So I coached her a little, basically stressing drag loading and aiming point - and she managed to produce several nice draws during the round. She said it was fun using the new club and I said I thought that anything that made her enjoy golf was worth spending money on.

I also had with me a brand new 3 wood that I built for my self.

On the 7th hole I suddenly thought of the RFP as I was programming a long shot from the semirough. And for the first time, it felt like it would work. More inward pickup than I've tried before. Suddenly I was in a very good position at the top. From there it was just to let go, and I swept through the ball with a heavy strike.

Had a couple of more shots at it before we ran out of holes. I got 95% distance for 75% effort. And it felt so incredible controllable and repeatable. For years I've been searching for a more repeatable and controlled setup/backswing procedure. I think this might be a big step forward for me. Can't wait to taste more of it.

Many thanks to Yoda for stressing the RFP on numerous occations. What a great forum this is.

Best regards,

Bernt
