I shouda put a wink icon there! I just like to get you riled up! I think Puggy Blackmon and Alex Sloan were connected some how, so no doubt there were 24 compatible components there. I wonder if DD had a sense of them?

Actually when Duval was Ga. Tech, Puggy had him go work with George Kelnhofer G.S.E.M. As far as Alex Sloan, I am not sure. DD definitely knew about the 24 components. Keep in mind while in college Duval played in the final group with Tom Kite at Atlanta C.C. ( Yoda's home track I believe ) in the old Bellsouth Classic.

I believe before Augusta last year, DD started working with Puggy again at South Carolina. Now that his wife is better, let's hope he can return to form that brought him a major.

Haney tried to get Duval to change his grip significantly to much more vertical - weaker position. IMHO that was the first and biggest influence in Duval's free fall from the top tier.
