Teachers Tournament
If the golf teachers of the world played a tournament... who would be among the leaders? Who would win? THIS IS FOR FUN ONLY!!!

I'll start--

Among the leaders-- Mac O'Grady, Stan Utley, Peter Croker, Greg McHatton, Jim McLean

Winner-- Utley... because he plays the most on a high level

In a celebrity teacher’s tournament?

They play a highly competitive PGA Club Professional Championship each year. Did you see the swing and performance of Mike Small, this year's winner? What a great swing. He is playing in the Western this week.

My pick:
I’ll go with Suzy Whaley over some of those old guys like Leadbetter.

Some wonderful swings in the CPGA. Evidence that Homer's influence is strong.

I really like JC Andersen's swing. A very accurate motion. I'd love to see some clips/pics if anyone has any. I didn't catch more than a few minutes of this year, but I saw quite a few top notch patterns. I liked what I saw of Tim Thelen's motion too.

The PGA should do a yearly summary of the tourney by posting the top 10 finisher's swings with analysis by a GSED listing their components

I'll tell you what:

Let Mac or JC or any of those guys go teach at Different Strokes in Louisville and City Park in New Orleans for oh... three or four years or so (I've done 23), travel all the time, have q surgery a year and play one tournament or two all year and play about 20 rounds a year tops...

...then, let me at 'em.

You mean...by that time, they won't be able to break 80 either?

You have a strong list, but have omitted the obvious winner!

I hear that Yoda and Ted do indeed play well!!! I have seen them both hit on the range, and they can both smash the ball straight out there.
