I had a nice little roll-ie, pole-ie, hole-ie today. I was playing the par 3 6th at Muroc Lake golf course at EAFB. It is ~210 yards downhill (1-club or so). The wind was into us a bit so I hit 3-wood, but not very well. Hit a high cut which left me 25 yards or so short of the pin, but right in front. Played a 9-iron chip low, but with vertical hinging for spin (I am addicted ). Ball hit the front of the green, skipped a couple of times, and rolled true to hit the flag (a little hard). The ball fell, quivered on the edge, and fell in the hole. The only highlight (for me) in an entirely inauspicious day. The hubby had 3 birdies which is at least 2 over his limit (he typically stays on a 1 bird a round diet).
