I am sitting here, 1am. Friday night...and it just occured to me how lucky I have been in my travels. And so...thought I would post it for the world to see...
For my 3 closest friends from the TGM community.
First. Thank you Mike O. Its been about 2 years - and I sincerely appreciate the phone calls, the pm's, the knowledge - and most importanly - the patience you have shown. I still don't 'get it' but the search continues. I won't reveal your background, but wanted to publicly say thank you. A friend you are indeed.
Second. EC! My Man! What a brilliant mind!!! And perhaps the HEAVIEST clubhead I have ever heard!!! And an eagle eye. Case in point - me and Eddie on the range, him on the cell...me hitting weak cuts. He says, out of nowhere and without video...hey, stop supinating your wrist! Bam...I start hitting it good. When Eddie talks, Patrick listens. My buddy!!! Always has a great perspective and knows what the hell he is talking about. More then that, a GREAT friend!!! We have had some laugh's (I'll cut that for you).......
Third. Yoda. What can I say??? I was privileged enough to be at his first 'comeback'. He was on fire!!! Consciousness streaming, it was amazing. And such a selfless and generous person. He 'owns' it. And he gives his knowledge away. I am a disciple, a soldier. And any time he calls...I will be here. A true friend.
The others...6B1D, Annikan, Henning. And others. I've enjoyed the talks...the debates...the friendship.
Sorry to get sentimental. Its just been that kind of year.
Welcome Home Patrick, I don't want to dwell on the past year but want to say that I too value your friendship, you introducing me to Eddie and helped my g'machine for many years. And I do remember the first time you posted back to Yoda on the old 'offical site'? . Do you remember the exchange??? LOL Just busting a friends chops.
