If you can hit your cast cavity backs well, then forged musclebacks or cavity backs should not be that big of a problem. In my own experience, a poorly struck shot can be felt with both a cavity back and a muscle back (either cast or forged), and the results show with both. Your body will adjust accordingly provided your basic mechanics and swing is sound. If not, build a good G.O.L.F. swing first, then worry about the kind of iron you use second. Just my opinion.
